WHAT IS HOPE?
The purpose of the Mayes County HOPE Coalition is to reduce high-risk health behaviors such as alcohol, drug and tobacco use, unsafe sexual activity, poor nutrition, and physical inactivity through education, coalition building, interventions, and other appropriate activities, thus improving the quality of life of the citizens of Mayes County.
The Mayes County HOPE Coalition is a multi-faceted, non-profit organization that aims to improve the lifestyle of each community within Mayes County by establishing health and well-being initiatives directly related to the needs of each community. Established in 2008, the Coalition is a collective of service providers and community volunteers who have come together for the betterment of Mayes County and its citizenry.
