The purpose of the HOPE Community Garden is to provide access to locally grown foods to Mayes County families, provide educational opportunities, and support anyone who loves gardening or wants to learn!

Our garden's campaign is “Plant a Seed for Those in Need”.  Produce grown is donated to local agencies such as, DHS and the Mayes County Health Department, to be dispersed to families in need.

Garden beds are sponsored by local businesses, civic groups, churches, and individuals in the county.  Sponsorships range from $25/$75/$150 per bed.  Due to overwhelming response and support of our project, the garden has grown from 12 beds to 22 in the last year!

The garden is located about a block west of the RR tracks at Hwy 20 in Pryor.  It sits just north of the Apostolic Church. If you are interested in being a part of our garden project, please give us a call.  If you, or anyone you know, has an abundance of produce from your own garden and you wish to donate it to our campaign please contact Mayes County HOPE Coalition at 918.373.8207 or Mallory Rial, Nutrition Coordinator, at 918.639.3270.
